The ideal candidate possesses at least three years of experience in legal administrative support, including drafting and document management. They thrive in high-pressure environments and demonstrate a natural ability to handle stress, intense schedules, shifting priorities, and high-stakes demands with agility!

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Support attorneys in employee benefits practice, ensuring top client service and document accuracy
  • Manage document conversion tasks and maintain organized, accessible files
  • Track deadlines for employee benefits filings, ensuring compliance
  • Utilize firm technology tools to streamline document management
  • Assist with matter openings, conflict checks, and document preparation
  • Prepare and manage employee benefits documents and compliance filings
  • Handle billing, expenses, and routine inquiries for benefits matters
  • Arrange travel for attorneys attending benefits-related meetings
  • Process and send correspondence through mail or specialized services
  • Draft and prepare legal documents using firm systems
  • Proofread documents for formatting, grammar, and accuracy
  • Manage client and case data across multiple integrated databases
  • Direct calls and assist with inquiries related to employee benefits
  • Schedule meetings, appointments, and case deadlines on electronic calendars
  • Maintain positive relations and assist with overflow tasks as needed
  • Organize and maintain electronic and physical files per firm guidelines

QUALIFICATIONS & REQUIREMENTS

  • High school diploma required; college degree preferred
  • Minimum of 3 years of legal drafting & document experience
  • Highly proficient in Microsoft Office & document management systems
  • Exceptional attention to detail, verbal, & written communication
  • Excellent clerical skills & knowledge of grammar, spelling & punctuation
  • Highly proficient with technology and on various devices
  • Experience with manual filing and documentation

Employment Type: Full-time, permanent position 

Base Salary: $75,000.00 - $90,000.00 per year
