As a medical malpractice paralegal, you will play an essential role in preparing for trials, conducting research, and managing documents, contributing to the success of our high-stakes cases.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist attorneys in preparing for trials, including organizing exhibits, preparing witness lists, and drafting trial documents.
  • Conduct thorough research and analysis of medical records and legal documents related to medical malpractice cases.
  • Manage and organize case files, ensuring all documents are accurately maintained and easily accessible.
  • Coordinate and communicate with clients, witnesses, and experts to gather necessary information and support for cases.
  • Draft and file legal documents, such as pleadings, motions, and discovery requests, in compliance with Florida state court rules.
  • Provide administrative support to attorneys, including scheduling meetings, maintaining calendars, and handling correspondence.
Qualifications & Requirements:
  • Minimum of 3 years of demonstrated experience as a paralegal in medical malpractice, nursing home, and/or products liability.
  • Previous trial experience is preferred.
  • In-depth knowledge of Florida state court rules.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Client-oriented focus with a professional demeanor.
  • Initiative, analytical thinking, attention to detail, and organizational skills.
  • Proficiency in computer skills, including Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.
Pay & Benefits:
  • 75,000.00 - $90,000.00 per year
