We are seeking a Paralegal/Legal Secretary to provide comprehensive support to our attorneys, with a focus on employment, labor, and workforce management.

Key Responsibilities: 

  • Oversee and coordinate daily schedules, including managing calendars, arranging travel, planning and scheduling conferences, teleconferences, depositions, and tracking court appearance dates. 
  • Handle legal documentation and correspondence, organize mail, and transcribe attorneys’ time entries. 
  • Draft, proofread, and edit a variety of legal documents, such as letters, memoranda, briefs, pleadings, agreements, and contracts. 
  • Manage documents from templates, handwritten notes, or dictation. 
  • Consistently open, maintain, and organize case files. 
  • Answer phone calls, relay messages accurately, and communicate with poise and professionalism. 
  • Interact effectively with clients, court reporters, opposing counsel’s staff, and internal colleagues both verbally and in writing. 
  • Arrange for court reporters, video conferencing, depositions, and meetings. 
  • Utilize Relativity for e-discovery tasks. 
  • Review and correct monthly billing forms to ensure accuracy. 
  • Prepare exhibits and witness files. Process reimbursements, expense reports, and check requests. 
  • Demonstrate thorough knowledge of E-filing procedures within local, state, and federal jurisdictions. 

Qualifications & Requirements: 

  • High School Diploma Required; College Degree Preferred. 
  • 3 years of experience as a paralegal or legal support position. 
  • 2 years of experience in Employment, Labor, and Workforce Management law. 
  • Highly proficient in Microsoft Office Suite 
  • Advanced with calendar management in Outlook, internet research, document management systems, and attorney time entry software(s) 
  • Highly organized with exceptional attention to detail. 
  • Able to work under extreme deadlines while maintaining composure and organization. 
  • Build effective working relationships across the Firm. 
  • Exhibit professionalism with both internal and external clients, anticipating needs and providing necessary support. 

Pay & Benefits: 

  • $55,000.00 - $65,000.00 (negotiable on experience) 
  • Monday – Friday 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
