We are currently seeking a results-driven Service Sales Account Manager to manage and expand customer relationships across a designated geographic territory. In this role, you will be responsible for driving sales growth by offering preventative maintenance, spare parts, and equipment upgrades for industrial machinery. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES: 

Sales and Account Management

  • Develop and maintain relationships with customers, focusing on driving sales for upgrades, spare parts, and preventative maintenance. 
  • Understand customer business goals and recommend tailored solutions to meet their needs. 
  • Create detailed price quotations for upgrades, spare parts, and maintenance services, and ensure prompt follow-up on open quotes. 
  • Track customer interactions, manage outstanding quotes, and convert them into sales opportunities. 
  • Execute marketing campaigns to promote new technology, upgrades, and other product offerings. 
  • Analyze customer behavior and market trends to identify potential new sales opportunities. 
  • Conduct sales presentations for new and existing clients, ensuring alignment with customer goals. 

Customer Service and Cross-Functional Collaboration

  • Collaborate with internal teams such as field service technicians, sales support, and technical teams to ensure smooth project execution. 
  • Resolve escalated customer issues by providing technical insight and guidance. 
  • Act as the point of contact for ongoing customer projects, including spare part orders, machine upgrades, and preventative maintenance services. 
  • Proactively manage customer expectations and communicate clearly on project timelines, pricing, and issues. 

Reporting and Leadership

  • Regularly analyze sales data, customer satisfaction metrics, and market trends to assess opportunities for growth. 
  • Submit activity and outcome reports to leadership, providing insights on sales performance and customer engagement. 
  • Assist in training and mentoring junior team members in sales and account management best practices. 

QUALIFICATIONS & REQUIREMENTS: 

  • 3-5 years of experience in account management, sales, or business development, ideally within a technical or manufacturing environment. 
  • Bachelor’s degree in business, engineering, or a related field preferred; relevant work experience will be considered in place of formal education. 
  • Experience managing accounts in a B2B setting, particularly with industrial equipment, machinery, or technical products. 
  • Proven track record of driving sales and managing client relationships, including upselling and cross-selling technical products or services. 
  • Familiarity with machinery, industrial equipment, or technical products, terminology, and industry lingo. 
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills to articulate solutions, proposals, and technical concepts to clients. 
  • Ability to troubleshoot and resolve escalated customer service issues effectively. 
  • Organized and detail-oriented, with the ability to manage multiple client projects simultaneously. 
  • Experience with CRM systems, ERP systems, and quoting software. Familiarity with MS Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook). 
  • Willingness to travel approximately 15 weeks per year (about one week per month) to client sites in territory. 

PAY, BENEFITS, & ADDITIONAL INFORMATION 

  • Base salary negotiable $85,000 to $85,000 
  • Performance-based bonus, up to $10,000 or more annually

  • Flexible Schedule: Monday - Thursday 9-hour shifts and every other Friday OFF or 8-hour shift. 
  • Expected to travel approximately 15 weeks per year, averaging about one week per month. Flexibility is offered depending on the need and coverage of the territory, with a possibility of less travel if results are achieved in fewer trips.
