Job Title: Senior Tax Accountant (CPA or EA)
Location: Inverness, FL (Also hiring in Spring Hill and Odessa)
Job Type: Full-Time | In-Office (1 Remote Day/Week)

A highly regarded and established accounting firm with over 30 years of excellence is actively seeking a Senior Tax Accountant to join their growing team. This is a full-time, in-office position with one remote day per week. The firm is known for its supportive environment, exceptional leadership, and deep commitment to client success.

Compensation & Benefits

• Salary Range: $80,000–$120,000 (based on experience)
• Tax Season Bonus potential (varies)

What You'll Do

• Prepare and review a wide range of complex tax returns independently
• Engage in tax planning and compliance for individuals, corporations, partnerships, and trusts
• Stay current on tax laws and provide proactive guidance to clients
• Collaborate with team members to ensure client deliverables are met efficiently and accurately
• Support audit activities and communicate directly with tax authorities when needed
• Potential to mentor junior staff, depending on experience

What We're Looking For

• CPA or EA certification – Required
• Minimum of 5 years’ experience preparing and reviewing tax returns
• Strong background working within a public accounting firm
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities
• Proficiency in tax software (UltraTax preferred) and QuickBooks
• Detail-oriented with excellent organizational and analytical skills
• Must be local to the area – out-of-state or relocation candidates will not be considered

Interview Process

• First-round interviews are approximately one hour
• Local candidates will be prioritized – the firm has had challenges with remote or relocating applicants
