• Compares and identifies information and counts, weighs, or measures items of incoming and outgoing shipments to ensure orders are correct
• Prepares orders for shipment and prepares bills of lading
• Creates and applies shipping labels on packed cartons or writes shipping ID numbers on cartons
• Assembles wooden or cardboard containers or selects pre-assembled containers
• Inserts items into containers (packaging)
