Now seeking an Accommodations Administrator to join our Bank & Finance team in Columbus, OH! This is a full-time, contract, hybrid position with 3 days on-site, and 2 days remote.

As an ADA Accommodations Administrator, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring compliance with the American's with Disabilities Act (ADA) and fostering an inclusive work environment. This position is responsible for meticulously managing the accommodation process and policies, collaborating with colleagues, legal teams, and third-party administrators to facilitate a smooth and accessible workplace.

Role Summary:

  • Accommodation Evaluation: Communicate proficiently with employees to understand their accommodation, leave, and absence needs. Provide clarity on requirements, documentation, and notice necessary for accommodation eligibility.
  • Interactive Process: Conduct, document, and coordinate interactive process discussions, working alongside legal, leave administration, and third-party administrators to make informed decisions regarding restrictions and accommodations.
  • Legal Compliance: Stay updated on relevant laws, including ADA, federal FMLA, and local regulations governing leaves and accommodations, ensuring full compliance.
  • Guidance and Support: Offer guidance to managers and colleagues, fostering effective communication, positive working relationships, and a harmonious work environment.
  • Documentation: Maintain thorough and timely documentation of employee relation matters through the organization's case management system.
  • Compliance: Adhere to company policies and federal, state, and local laws while performing all tasks.
  • Prioritization: Thrive in a high-volume environment by skillfully prioritizing tasks for successful execution.
  • Flexibility: Undertake additional projects and tasks as needed to support evolving business needs.

Benefits, Pay, & Perks

  • $28 - $31 PER HOUR BASED ON EXPERIENCE
  • Monday - Friday 9:00 AM - 5:00 PM HYBRID; 3 days on-site, 2 days remote.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in human resources, business, or a related field preferred, or a combination of education and experience.
  • Familiarity with HR software systems such as Service Now and Workday.
  • 1 - 3 years of HR experience.
  • Demonstrated expertise in ADA and FMLA matters.
  • Preferred experience in supporting a sizable client base.
