Key Responsibilities:

  • Take complete ownership of case management.
  • Independently manage timing and action plans for completing department functions.
  • Manage court deadlines, calendars, and hearings, ensuring timely filing adherence by attorneys and the team.
  • Transcribe legal documents, correspondence, and reports from rough draft or dictation.
  • Maintain manual records and filing systems, including electronic systems (E-filing), understanding requirements of both state and federal regulations.
  • Operate standard office equipment, including personal computers, copiers, scanners, filing systems, and telephones.
  • Prepare and edit various legal documents, including letters, memoranda, briefs, pleadings, agreements, contracts, and presentations, utilizing MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Relativity for e-discovery.
  • Review completed documents thoroughly for errors in grammar, spelling, punctuation, and formatting.
  • Open new files, prepare and collect conflict of interest checks, and maintain client and general files.
  • Proactively prepare correspondence, reports, and other documents ahead of need.

Requirements:

  • High School Diploma required; Bachelor’s degree preferred
  • 3+ years of case management experience
  • 3+ years of e-filing and understanding of federal and state requirements
  • Strong organizational and prioritization skills; ability to complete tasks under time constraints

Salary, Benefits & Additional Information:

  • $60,000 - $70,000 Base Salary (Negotiable based on experience)
  • Monday to Friday 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
  • On-site in St. Petersburg, FL
