Now seeking an experienced Dispatcher and Scheduling Coordinator sought to efficiently manage the deployment and itinerary of field service technicians across various territories. This role is vital for ensuring that service orders are executed seamlessly, and client needs are met with professionalism and punctuality.

Responsibilities include sophisticated scheduling, proactive client communication, precise data entry, and the upkeep of service records. The successful candidate will exhibit a proficiency in route mapping for optimal technician efficiency and display strong interaction skills with field personnel, sales representatives, and management.

Essential Job Functions:
  • Skillfully dispatch technicians with varied expertise to service orders in diverse regions.
  • Respond promptly to client inquiries through professional correspondence and calls.
  • Manage meticulous entry and updating of job orders, agreements, tasks, and progress reports.
  • Oversee requests for service parts and track inventory from requisition to fulfillment.
  • Conduct service request quoting and secure satisfactory payment authorizations.
  • Collect and verify new account credit and billing information.
  • Plan technician routes to enhance field service efficiency.
  • Liaise with field personnel, sales reps, regional managers, and support staff.
  • Provide backup support for other scheduling coordinators as needed.
  • Offer assistance to various internal teams and carry out special tasks as assigned by the supervisor.

Qualifications:
  • 1 -2 years of prior experience in dispatching and scheduling field/service technicians
  • A High School Diploma is required, with advanced education or certifications being advantageous.
  • Capable of thriving in a fast-paced setting, with a strong ability to multitask and maintain concentration.
  • Organized, detail-oriented, accountable, and possessing a high degree of accuracy in all work.
  • Effective communication skills, a positive attitude, and a collaborative work style.
  • Fundamental computer skills, with proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and the ability to pass a Basic Excel test.
  • A typing speed exceeding 35+ wpm, subject to testing.
