We are seeking a proactive, detail-oriented professional with defense and time tracking/billing experience ready to embrace new challenges and grow with our dynamic firm.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage an estimated caseload of 100 cases, ensuring effective progression and adherence to legal standards.
  • Draft and issue subpoenas with accuracy and efficiency.
  • Prepare detailed medical chronologies essential for case management.
  • Organize and maintain documentation for case management, including files and schedules for hearings, depositions, and trials.
  • Draft, review, and file legal documents such as pleadings, motions, and discovery responses.
  • Prepare trial binders and court materials; manage exhibit lists and documentation during trials.
  • Communicate with clients to update them on case progress and gather information.
  • Attend trials and depositions, assisting with document management and support to attorneys.
  • Organize exhibits and evidence for depositions and trials; prepare deposition summaries.
  • Coordinate logistical aspects such as scheduling meetings and travel, managing calendars.
  • Monitor and ensure compliance with court deadlines and requirements.
  • Handle billing processes, including timekeeping, invoice preparation, and billing inquiries.

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required; Bachelor’s degree preferred.
  • Minimum of 3 years experience in insurance defense, time-tracking, and billing.
  • Proficiency in legal document drafting, e-filing, and file management.
  • Experience in billing processes and management.
  • Must be comfortable on-site M-F 8:30 AM – 5:00 PM

Pay: From $65,000.00 per year
