We are currently seeking a highly organized, motivated Legal Assistant to join our Intellectual Property team.
As a pivotal member of our Intellectual Property legal team, you have the unique opportunity to support a dynamic group of attorneys dedicated to protecting and advancing our clients' innovative ideas and intellectual property rights.

Essential Job Duties:
- Provide comprehensive administrative support, emphasizing exceptional client service.
- Utilize and adopt firm technology tools to enhance efficiency in legal processes.
- Handle new matter openings, intake requests, and conflict checks.
- Manage incoming and outgoing communications, including scanning, mailing, and email correspondence.
- Support billing and expense-related processes, including inquiries and invoice reviews.
- Coordinate travel arrangements and technology needs for legal staff.
- Draft, prepare, and process legal documents and correspondence, ensuring accuracy and compliance with formatting requirements.
- Proofread documents to ensure correct grammar, punctuation, and spelling.
- Manage electronic calendars, scheduling meetings, appointments, and legal deadlines.
- Assist with telephone inquiries, directing calls as necessary.
- Maintain integrated databases with client and matter information.
- Organize and maintain both electronic and physical files.
- Engage positively with clients, team members, and co-workers, contributing to team efforts and assisting with overflow tasks.
- Participate actively in firm initiatives and policy adherence.
- Handle client correspondence and requests promptly and efficiently.
Minimum Requirements:
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Notary certification is a plus.
- Experience with intellectual property docketing systems (e.g., CPi, AltLegal) preferred.
- A minimum of five years of experience in administrative legal support.
- Outstanding written and oral communication skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office products (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and a strong clerical skill set.
- Exceptional attention to detail, customer service skills, and the ability to work independently.
- Must maintain strict confidentiality and be able to perform all essential duties.
Pay & Benefits:
- $70,000.00 - $80,000.00 (negotiable based on experience)
